RYA Safety Boat Course

RYA Safety Boat Course

Provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies. It includes rescue techniques. 

  • This course will be held at Brightlingsea working from Morgan Marine's Boatyard.
  • The course will run from 9.30am until 5.00pm each day.
  • Cost inclusive of Certificate, Handbook and Logbook - £134.00 per person.
  • Participants must be at least 16 years old on the final day of the course
  • Particpants should hold a current First Aid certificate
  • This course does not include overnight accommodation
  • Priority for attendance on this course will be given to those prepared to help with the East Mersea Sailing courses or to provide safety cover at Lochearnhead.
